55% of households believe that the level of violent crime has gone down, up from 38%
At least 70% of households are satisfied with the police in their area and are satisfied with the way courts generally deal with perpetrators of crime
Substance abuse is reduced by 2%
The awareness, attitude and behavior towards violence against women and children is improved by 5%
An additional 120 persons are convicted for corruption where the amount benefited is more than R5 million
SA’s ranking in the Transparency International corruption perception index is improved from 72nd to 50th or below out of 177 countries
